Snowbank Acquires Oakberry Master Franchise Rights Across Western Canada
Snowbank Brands Inc. (“Snowbank”) has acquired master franchise rights from OAKBERRY USA LLC (“OAKBERRY”) to develop the OAKBERRY brand across Western Canada.
OAKBERRY features quick-service açai-based bowls and smoothies, through conveniently located stores and kiosks.
“We fell in love with the OAKBERRY brand, the simplicity and taste of its product, and the health benefits of açai,” said Carter Friesen, CEO of Snowbank. “OAKBERRY is now a worldwide brand, and we knew it would be a perfect fit for Western Canada.”
“British Columbia and Alberta have been in our expansion plans for a couple of years. Snowbank will be developing its own OAKBERRY stores in Vancouver, Calgary, and Winnipeg, and will accept applications for franchisees across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. The first Western Canadian OAKBERRY will open in Vancouver in late spring 2023.
